Biggest Cypress I Have Seen

This cypress is really huge - you can see the guy sitting there next to it. Most of the cypress, even in those preserves are 2nd cut. Most of the Southern cypress swamps were clear cut 100 years ago to make wood for all manner of things. Cypress is rot resistant (proof?) and is strong. It was used for framing and many old houses in the South are framed with cypress.
